Media Invite - Launch of PIER71™’s Smart Port Challenge 2022

Invitation to the Launch of PIER71™’s Smart Port Challenge 2022

              Mr Chee Hong Tat, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Transport, and Deputy Secretary-General, NTUC, will launch Smart Port Challenge (SPC) 2022 as the Guest-of-Honour (GOH) at Singapore Maritime Gallery on 20 May 2022.

2.         SMS Chee will make the following announcements during the event:

  • Launch of SPC 2022
  • MPA grant awardees from SPC 2021 and SPC 2020
  • A Memorandum of Understanding between Jurong Port Pte Ltd and Skyports to collaborate on the development of commercial Concept of Operations and explore the setting up of a facility for drone deliveries of ship supplies

3.           The launch event for SPC 2022 is held in a hybrid format this year and virtual access is also available to journalists.
