New green programme, Green Bootcamp @ North West launched for youths to develop and implement creative solutions

The North West Community Development Council (CDC) will be launching a new green programme – Green Bootcamp @ North West, where youths will be given the platform to develop and implement creative solutions to tackle sustainability issues. The programme will be launched by Mr Alex Yam, Mayor of North West District.

2                   Through this Bootcamp, the participants will gain an understanding of present-day environmental issues, and be able to think critically to come up with innovative solutions to address pressing sustainability issues. At the session, the 10 top teams will be pitching their ideas to a panel of judges, based on the problem statement of: How might your team influence the community to adopt sustainable practices into their daily lives? The best five teams will walk away with exclusive prizes and the opportunity to implement their ideas within the community, with support from North West CDC and its network of partners in the green space.
