Dear Editors,
SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG), in collaboration with The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES), launched the Jobs-Skills Quarterly Insights (JSQI) – Skills for Engineers and Technicians in the Green Economy.
This issue spotlights the changing jobs and skills for engineers and technicians, in the face of global climate and sustainability challenges. It is launched in conjunction with the IES Green Plan, which outlines engineering-centric action plans from 2023 to 2030 in support of the Singapore Green Plan 2030. The issue builds on the second edition of the Skills Demand for the Future Economy Report, by further elaborating on the in-demand skills identified in the Report under the green economy and the digital economy, that are particularly relevant for engineers and technicians.
Please refer to the attached media release and JSQI, both of which are embargoed 17 January 2023, 7.30pm. Thank you very much.
